Dance like a dead bird
down in the dirt
If you do it just so
lady death will let you look up her skirt
black moon above us
In a hard old sky
syphilis mad for oh so very long
it's time to knuckle up and roll the fucking die
and on that day.....
oh on that day
the black bleeds through
showing poor deep in the mess still dripping blue.
Endless johovas
smell of white hot stone
over yonder backwoods
lies grave of broken bones
was it your devils
That led you astray
or was it the poison in the charms
that keeps you running now
until this very day.
Chanting in the hills
Fires by the roadside

this their most solid release to date, there other records are all insanely brilliant, you should buy them if you enjoy this for sure. keep kicking ass and putting some of the best sludge this decade. Ryan Graham

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario

Every track sounds absolutely great and fantastic to my untrained ears but Eternal Sigh, Warpaint, Southern Sky & Alamut are probably the tracks I enjoyed most!!! John Sawyer
Dark electronic music gets warped and clobbered on the latest from Author & Punisher. Brooding, cutting, and claustrophobic. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 18, 2017
